Even though Ive not been working, I feel as if today starts Christmas vacation. Andrea got her new job starting January 5th after a mess down the stretch in the SOS office with the new Secretary moving in. Andrea will be starting back where she started from in 2001 at the House of Representatives. The most important part is she is happy and secondary is no loss of pay or benefits. Im so proud of her! Jan Brewer was a bumpy road for Andrea as her assistant but was always treated with respect. Ken Bennett treated her even better and I wish all the outgoing folks in the SOS office the best of luck. Andrea was with the AZ SOS office for over 9 years. A lot of biting my tongue and staying quiet on stuff but happy Andrea got the experience. It has been a difficult year in 2014 with the election and at times hard to deal with but everything in the end worked out for the best. Everything happens for a reason I say. Now Andrea gets two-plus weeks to decompress and enjoy her family before the next chapter of her professional career. Im excited to spend some time over the next week with both sides of the family. I know Andrea is excited too. Christmas shopping for Brady tomorrow! That little boy makes everything in life so worth living for. :-) Happy Holidays everyone!
