Even though it just tears me up seeing my mom dealing with Alzheimers Im still so blessed that shes still with us. We have our bad days and good days. Some days shes just too tired to talk so I do the talking, and other days we laugh together while I sit in bed and do her nails or rub lotion on her hands and feet. The other day she was on her side and I was rubbing her back and could see that it felt good. I couldnt help but remember being a little girl with my head in her lap and she would rub and tickle my back, so the roles do turn for us all at some point. Were all here for just a little while and you make the most of your time. Love your parents and be blessed, because whether you realize it or not, you are blessed!
