Even today here is the scene! Even many Christian leaders today present God to the world as eager to visit judgment and destruction on those who sin. So if a great tidal wave or cyclone or earthquake claims thousands of lives, as it has recently that we all have read about, it has to be because God is angry with sinners and is hurling down His judgments. And the enemy of our soul, and some ministers and teachers takes it a step further in saying: not only does God destroy people for not keeping His Law of love and the showing of His character as amplified in the life of Christ, but He does so knowing that they cant keep it__since He has made a law that impossible to keep. But, remember that Jesus showed us how to keep Gods law, and in the strength of Jesus, and our willingness to do the will of God, we can keep the same character of God as reveal in His law and that was shown daily in the life of Christ.. What is God really like? Is He a God of love__or a God of stern judgment and destruction? Did He make a law He knew no body could keep__then condemn them to death whey they failed to keep it? Does He hold out the carrot of heaven and eternal life as a reward for good behavior, only to apply the stick of punishment when we behave badly or refuse to obey Him for many unfounded reasons? When He asks us to love Him, is it Love Me or else? REMEMBER that God is love, but He will not force anyone to obey Him.. We must come to Him willingly and submitting ourselves totally into His care, and withholding nothing, or making a reservation of some portion of our life for ourselves. Yes, He gives us the choice to obey Him and to inherit life eternal or we can choose to reject Him and thereby placing ourselves automatically in the hands of the enemy of mankind whose sole purpose is to destroy, maim, kill, injure, and hurt every member of society, if they should permit him to have their life counted with the confederates of the devil or Satan, instead of giving their life into the wonderful hands of our Creator-The Only One that deserves our fidelity because He gave Himself at Calvary to redeem us from our sins that would eventually cause our eternal ruin and death along with the devil and his demonic angels who rebelled with him against God and Jesus in heaven. Remember also that the Bible says, that the brightness of His coming destroys the wicked; their deeds of sin can not stand up to the magnificent glory that will be revealed at Christs coming. Make serious choices today for Life..
