Events & Info for Wednesday, December 4 **New to our area? First time parents? Need some new holiday activity ideas? Ive put together a list of my familys favorite Christmas traditions. Some of them are places we go together as a family to celebrate the season and some of them are fun things for us to experience right at home. We love this time of year! I have included links for each activity to provide you with all the info. I hope that you find it useful! First time attendees, please arrive 5-10 minutes early for intro. These classes are open to the public – so bring your friends and family. All fitness levels are encouraged to attend. Minimum age is 15 (all minors are required to have a waiver signed by parent/guardian). Location: CrossFit Mechanix, 3570 Canada Rd. Ages 2-5 years old. 10:15 & 11:15 am. --Tiny Tots Skate @ Cordova Skating Center. Ages 8 & under. 12:30-2:30 pm. --Red Barn Christmas @ the Agricenter. 3 p.m.-9 p.m. Carnival & Camel and Pony rides only. More info here: redbarnchristmasmemphis/ --Priddy Farms Holiday Activities from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Holiday hay ride, reindeer train ride, moon bounce, slide bounce, Christmas trees to cut down or pre cut trees, wreaths and they can offer a wreath making class for small groups. --Gym Games at Bartlett Rec Center. 5-7 p.m. Ages 6-11 years old. Free to BRC members. --Starry Nights @ Shelby Farms. 6-9 p.m. Drive through an amazing light display at Shelby Farms Park. There is also a petting zoo, Santa and camel rides. On Fridays & Saturdays see skilled artists designing unique Park-themed ice sculptures. Carriage rides also available. This year my Winter ART Camp will be held on 2 Saturdays- Each Saturday will have different Art Projects- The projects will be Christmas/Winter Themed - We will create 3-D Art, Canvas Painting, Edible Art & Much Much More!!! This will be a perfect time for your child to enjoy some Art Time and for you to get some Christmas Shopping done or just enjoy a few hours to yourself!!
