Events this weekend: The San Jose Holiday Art Market returns to the Historic Reed House for its 3rd annual exhibition the weekend of November 16th & 17th. This exquisite arts, crafts, & design fair is free to attend and will run from 11am - 4pm each day, providing an excellent and fun opportunity to get a jump start on your holiday shopping. The San Mateo Harvest Festival, the Original Arts and Craft Show, will open at the San Mateo Event Center November 15-17, offering over 24,000 original arts and crafts. The Harvest Festivals boasts thousands of gifts for everyone, including jewelry, woodturnings, art and photography, specialty foods, clothing, décor and more. Join the party between 3pm - 6pm at Fahrenheit Restaurant & Lounge, as they will be pouring their 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Carbernet Franc and Young Blood blend throughout. They will have complimentary wine tasting and appetizers. Fortino Winery is having their 10th Annual Fall Boutique on Saturday and Sunday starting at 11am! Held in the Barrel Room, you will find vendors from Jewelry, Art, Hand Bags, Candles, Hand Crafted items, such as soap, wine bottle lights, and much more! Enjoy Hot Apple Cider outside and stop by their tasting room for Hot Mulled Wine. Soquel High School is having their Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday from 10-4! Support your local high school and buy some great gifts from many unique community vendors, including items made from woodshop (rainbow cutting boards), ceramics, and floral design, plus some books and items from the Game of Thrones autographed by the writer, George RR Martin.
