Ever get so discouraged that you feel your heart is melting? The Psalmist did, on occasion. He once said My heart is smitten. It is withered like grass! That faint, that weak, that honest before the Lord! He was so low that he even lost interest in eating! My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. Psalm 102:4, quoted here in the King James Version. Yet feeling this down, this depressed, the writer still comes to God for help! He cries out to the One Who can hear, can encourage, can heal! Someone reading here today may be distraught as well. Listen ... GOD CAN TAKE CARE OF YOU! KEEP CALLING OUT TO HIM! WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT WITH THE LORD ... JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING!
