Ever had a medieval dinner? This Sunday you might change that! My friend Jasna will make some ancient dishes, based on extended research she did. The menu looks like this: 1. supergreen herb salad, fritters de herbs with honey and spermyse (= herb cakes), gilded apples (= ancient meat balls) 2. makerons with feta cheese (= ancient pasta) 3. stewed pears 4. pudding apples raisins The dishes will be served with blackcurrant spiced honey wine. Possibly, there will be some chicken on the spit as well. Apart from the food, you can also expect some fantasy costumes and role-playing (king, queen, duke, minstrel, knight, joker, wizard, dragon, possessed witch), all with historic accuracy of course. The dinner party starts this Sunday at 7pm at my place (Rabot). 10 euro will be asked per person for covering the ingredients. Seats are limited to 7, so be quick, for 4 seats are already taken!
