Ever see a photo and click it to save, only to discover the image is small and when you enlarge it the image is blurry? thats because the original image was a jpeg and not a tiff file. every time you share a jpeg it gets smaller and smaller. a Tiff file remains the same size all the time. Every time you edit and save a Jpeg, Your file becomes smaller with less information. Jpeg files are compressed to begin with. You can resave a Tiff file many times and not loose quality.
