Every January, ECHO (Ending Community Homelessness Coalition) coordinates the Austin/Travis County Point-in-Time Count of the unsheltered homeless population. The count provides valuable information on the location and needs of those individuals in our community who experience street homelessness, and is used to measure our progress toward ending homelessness. The next count is coming up on January 24th, 2015, and ECHO needs your help to do it! Please register to volunteer here and spread the word! Unity in the Heart of Austin volunteers can serve together if you select Shift Two and asked to be paired with other Unity folks.
