Every day is a “Day of Prayer,” but on Saturday, November - TopicsExpress

Every day is a “Day of Prayer,” but on Saturday, November 1st, in preparation for Consecration Sunday, Wyoming United Methodist Church will celebrate a special Day of Prayer. You will have an opportunity to sign up to dedicate one hour of prayer during that day. You may choose to spend that time in prayer either at church in the sanctuary or at home. During that hour we ask that you focus your prayers on our church and congregation, lifting up the many programs and outreach ministries that are part of Wyoming United Methodist Church. We would also suggest that you pray for God’s touch in your own spiritual life as to where He wants you to use your time, talents and treasures and that God would provide for the financial needs of our many church ministries. Also included in this time of prayer could be prayers for our Consecration Sunday speaker, Rev. Scot McClymont, that his message would encourage each of us to “Step Up! And Savour the Journey” with our Lord and through our Lord. This is your time and your choice for spiritual reflection. Suggested scripture passages will be available to help guide you in your meditations. Prayer is a powerful force in our daily life and in our world. Our prayers can make a difference AMEN!
