Every few minutes our doorbell rings, and its another neighborhood kid reporting for rehearsal. Im sure you all know, but were finally nearing opening night of The Wizard of Oz, adapted for our basement, featuring a cast of 14 (and growing). There are homemade costumes, backdrops and props, and a cast whose ages range from 5 to 12. Maggie is the director, overseeing it all with a firm hand. I would say a tad too firm, actually. But the cast can tell their side when they write their showbiz tell-all memoirs.
