Every holiday season Carlsbad parks and recreation staff turns this ranch into a wonderland with holiday decorations. Families come pouring into the Holiday at the Rancho special event to get into the holiday spirit. Staff needs LOTS of help to put up the decorations. Then they need help to set up the pony ride, cookie decoration booth, place to get a photo taken with Santa and more. Finally, they need help to take it all down again. They are looking for about six hard-working Marines for each time frame. -Decorating Day: Friday, Dec. 6; noon – 5 p.m. at Leo Carrillo Ranch Help staff put holiday decorations up all over the ranch for the upcoming special event at the ranch. Pizza possible! -Day of the Event: Saturday, Dec. 7; 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Leo Carrillo Ranch Get everything ready for the Holiday at the Rancho family party coming up that evening. Feel free to enjoy the event and stay to watch Elf on an outdoor screen. -Night after the Event: Saturday, Dec. 7; 7 – 11 p.m. at Leo Carrillo Ranch It’s all over.
