Every now and then I get asked if I could shoot a wedding or event and instead of an album or prints to provide a disc instead. I have to say Im EXTREMELY against it. There are many reasons but let me start with this: The click and burn process is what is unfortunately destroying the industry let alone what photography is meant to be. There is absolutely nothing better than walking into your home and having a beautifully printed image on your wall by a true lab. Technology changes so will your computer! The real question is not if your hard drive will fail but when! Hard drives like anything else will come to an unfortunate end. Technology itself will change meaning our discs of today wont be around in the future. Just to think Apple doesnt even provide a disc reader with their new computers tells a lot right there!! Are you really interested in actually laying out your album? What album company would you use? I use one of the best album companies in the world that continues to assemble their albums by hand in Italy. I can go on and on with this but just wanted to make a couple points. Im trying vigorously hard to preserve my industry and what it stands for. I shoot fine art and print on fine art papers. You want nothing but the best so youll never get a piece of plastic with your images in it. You WILL get the best albums known, the finest prints printed by the best quality. Im more than passionate at what I do, I pour my heart, soul, sweat and 100% love into your images from start to finish so dont settle for less. :)
