Every once in a while I need to remind myself that Im living a theatrical dream life: 1.) Im about to close a production of Alls Well That Ends Well that has been selling at basically 75-80% capacity. 2.) In a month I will be playing Rosalind in a reversed gender production of As You Like It for the Lake Effect Fringe Festival, for which I sit on the board. 3.) Immediately after that I will start rehearsals for a production of Julius Caesar. Role TBA. 4.) For the rest of the year I will hopefully be performing in productions of The Winters Tale, The Comedy of Errors, and Hamlet. 5.) I just took an awesome Intro to Lighting class; in which I proved to myself that being a technical theater person is not out of my reach. 6.) My day job also involves working at a theater. 7.) I also get to combine my love for theater with my love of music. Whenever I act, I also get to sing or play an instrument. 8.) I work with most my best friends on an almost daily basis. 9.) I am married to an amazing, intelligent, talented, passionate theater wife. 10.) I have no reason to complain; and will hopefully will be able to avoid doing so for the foreseeable future.
