Every person on earth is unique. Thats how it is meant to be yet we are stereotyped that we expect things to be seen the very same way we desire to see. I was looking at the mirror and wondering how would it be to become a granny. Will I refuse to look back at myself in the mirror? But, no. Well have a mindset that will get along with the change. So, why cant we accept others as they are? I always had this voice shouting within myself, who taught to point some people and say he is different, she is abnormal, they are disabled blah blah blah. How do I know what the other person is capable of? I dont know to swim so it is perfect for me, yet someone cant walk, can I call him a disable? Double standard, arent we? We might present with arguments to prove why they are disabled. Is it because of medical reports, the looks, the suffering? What if Im perfect to the normal standard yet have something within me that is not with the disabled? Should we throw such people just because they dont meet the standards we expect others to be? Do I qualify to be normal to your standards? Do you want to be sympathized? I dont. Nobody needs someone elses sympathy to live their own life. They didnt get a life because of your mercy. They have all rights to live their lives. Accept that difference exist. That will make this world a better place to live. Have you observed the different features of people from different countries? Just because Im south Asian, should I change my expressions meeting someone from North Pole? Next time when you meet someone different to your standard, dont start to whisper, smile uncomfortably or pull your perfect child away from the disabled. Per my knowledge every child can behave differently, can start a fight any moment or cause trouble. Not only those whom you think they would. Being protective is your duty, so is everyones. Our behaviour on these special people can cause distress to them and their loved ones. So, lets make sure to mind our business, not assume the cause to the case, not judge why they are different.
