Every time I run in a hot race, it never fails that I end up with a feeling of asphyxiation due to shortness of breath as well as a sloshy belly full of water that my body refuses to absorb. Before the start of SD100, RD Scott Mills mentioned something about low potassium levels being the culprit which got the wheels spinning since back when I used to get regular checkups, my potassium levels would always be on the low side. Time to do some experimentation!
