Every time I see casting for a new comic book movie I wonder if Im going to cringe like the last time. I do, every single time. Its more about making statements than caring about (or even slightly respecting) the source material. I know a zillion people are going to fight me on this, but Im going to ruin your main argument first: When I found out Heath Ledger was going to play The Joker I didnt rage, I simply said Well, anyone would be better than Jack Nicholson.
