Every two years, the University of Sydney Union (USU) reviews its Affirmative Action policy. The 2012 review was something of a landmark report in that it strongly committed the USU to boosting the representation of wom*n in student leadership positions. As a former Wom*ns Officer of the SRC, Annabel has long been active in promoting the interests of wom*n students on campus. She was heavily involved in the 2012 review, ensuring that the USU retained its AA policy for Board elections. There is only one wom*n running to represent students on the University Senate, across both the undergraduate and postgraduate races. There is only one candidate who will work to ensure better representation, more opportunities and the guaranteed safety of wom*n on campus. Voting closes 8 October (the same day as the USUs 2014 AA forum!): tinyurl/annabel4senate
