Every year we went up to Apple Hill and bought lugs and lugs of apples so I could can applesauce. Ian ate a quart a day by himself! So many good memories. We would always stop under a really old madrone tree and the kids would jump out and pile as many fallen autumn leaves as they could on the top of the car.... then they would jump back in and yell go!!!! and Rob would drive off fast and we would all watch the cloud of leaves swirling down.
