Everybody keeps sharing this, without investigating. Giving your dog ice isnt the cause of dangerous bloating, look into it. Its just like is eating ice, icecream etc. it might give them a little brain freeze if they ate it too fast. The articles reference to jumping into ice cold water, is not the same as eating ice, just as its not the same for us. Everyone is getting all worried that they gave their dogs.ice and it could have killed them, you arent. Having ice cold water when overheated can upset their stomachs, just as it can humans, but its not the cause of life threatening bloating like this article says. So no worries! :) your dog can continue to enjoy eating icecubes.
