Everybody please be aware there is a man driving around Wainuiomata approaching children and trying to cox them into his car. He is described as a white male, unshaven, dark hair and is driving a dark green station wagon. It happened yesterday (Monday 26th) to a friends daughter and I have just heard of a second attempt . She was approached while walking home from school and it happened on Wainui Road, not far from the top of Rata Street. She was smart enough and ran in the opposite direction and to the nearest house who contacted her mum and the police. She is safe and unharmed but very frightened which is understandable.
