Everyday I become more and more fascinated by the history behind modern and historic medicine. How they were created and why they were. They steps they took to create them, and what in their minds said to say, " Hey, what if we grab this plant and this stone powder and mixed it up and eat it. What will it do? " We all know that back in the days of the early Romans and Greeks they had their homeopathic cures to most the aliments of today, or at least bits and piece that are still used today. Case in point okay. The use of Willow Bark and Spiraea is still in use every single day. Most know it as the drug Aspirin, (acetylsalicylic acid). To me that is just nuts how someone one day just thought to mix those. What made them want to try that? That is my question of the day. ~weba
