Everyday is a great day. People (team power)- the most constructive or destructive force in a company Attended a biz function and met with a large group of very positive and energetic people. It was a very interesting occasion as normally I am the main source of high energy but in this place almost everyone shows equal or higher level of energy. Why is it so? The reason is that everyone is very excited and passionate about what they are doing, believe and share. They are celebrating their results and extra ordinary achievement. The secret? Ever since I transfer to my current and 4th department - Business Development and Investor Analytics, I realise that People is the single most important factor to make or break a company. ...rather than the products, services or even the company that we always think as the main ingredient for the success of a company. Why? A group of people who work single and whole heartedly can create enormous energy to achieve exponential results. Now you know it is a whole hearted team that works together rather than a team of Ivy League graduates who work in silo for their personal KPI that will deliver extra ordinary results. If you are still rewarding and recognizing only a few staff in your company and hope that they can do wonder, you are barking up the wrong tree... And your company is like a Cruise to Nowhere ... Reaching no new destination.
