Everyday we hear from the regular cast of right wing extremist tea baggers that the American people hate "Obamacare". And it is true that the polls seem to suggest that the law is unpopular. However, the polls do not account for the following: When asked about the individual provisions of the Affordable Care Act, the public overwhelmingly supports each individual provision. Next, many of the responders to these polls are supporters of single payer, medicare for all, or a public option. These are liberal leaning people who feel that the Affordable Care Act does not go far enough. But they do believe that the so called "Obamacare" is a good first step and DO NOT WANT IT TO BE DESTROYED.
