Everyone has heard that CHL instructor have been forced by the State of Texas to shorten my classes a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 6 hours. Even though by law I will have to abide by these new rules, I have come up with a plan. I will shorten my classes (because I have to) BUT if any of my students want to stay after, I will be more than willing to go into more depth on things that I will have to shorten. 10 hours was a small amount of time verses the time someone may spend in court or prison because they had a shortened class due to the law makers. If you have ever taken a concealed class, you know all the laws that have to be covered and you can not do it in a short amount of time. Ok, I will jump off my soap box now, carry on!
