So we decided to supplement, then just straight formula feed. Well, last night the nurse didnt take enough time with him and only got him to drink 20 ml, and then waited 3 hours to check his sugar, when he was actually supposed to get 30 ml and it was a 46 but it has to at least be a 50 for 24 hours. Ever since I havent let anyone else feed him because I wanna make sure he stays awake long enough to at least drink his 30, if not more. So we wont be going home today, and if he gets another bad sugar later this afternoon, then I will be discharged tomorrow and he will be admitted to stay without me. 😞😞😞 makes me so so sad after all the scares this pregnancy, and the emergency c section, the cord being wrapped around his neck, and the true knot, and him surviving it all, and now there is a possibility I might have to leave without him. Just tears me up so bad. Keep him in your thoughts, we miss Brody so much, and 9 days in the hospital is enough. Pray for good blood sugars the rest of the day so we can both be discharged tomorrow at the same time!!!!
