Everyone who knows me knows that I have a thing about the supernatural. Its kind of like hockey; I dont mind watching it on TV, but I dont want it going on in my home. So, you can imagine my chagrin when Luca Brasi hauled out a Ouija board for out weekly game night. I initially refused, but the little bird was insistent. So, finally, we gave it a go but I deliberately tried not to allow myself to mentally engage in it. I only put one finger lightly on the planchette, while Luca Brasi stood on it. So there was not way either of us could manipulate it. In a matter of seconds, we started getting a message. I began writing everything down immediately. I got as far as Medium mushroom and sausage, 2 liter bottle of Coke, order of wings when I realized that wed accidentally received a message intended for Dominos Pizza. No portals to the spirit world open, no otherworldly beings brought over to to our plane of existence, no harm done. Still, a little too close for my comfort. Im going to slip the Ouija board in with the garbage and throw it out in the morning. Luca Brasi can just learn to make do with Risk or Battleship from now on.
