Exactly, some people really need to take notice of this, parents & teachers!!! Not you though Ali Philly ;) people need to realise that studies have shown that homework does not make your child learn quicker, faster, make them smarter or anything else you may believe....all children will learn at their own pace regardless of what you do!!! Get outside with your kids & have some real quality time instead of sitting inside stressing them (& you) out over homework, go & kick a footy, play in the park, go for a walk, play dolls or whatever then when its bedtime read them a story!!! If you are going to do anything just read, a home reader, a picture book, a novel, whatever....reading is the most important thing you can do with your child.....As you can tell I think homework is way overated & should never come before real quality family time!!! Rant over!! :)
