Excellent opening volley from Trey Gowdy on the Benghazi investigation: he asks the press, Do you know?. Theres a lot riding on the Republicans doing this investigation right. It can be a political circus or it can be a solid investigation to find answers to his questions. Id prefer the latter. For those you that think this is solely a political stunt, do you know the answers to his questions? Why was Chris Stevens in Benghazi the night he was killed? Why were we the last flag flying in Benghazi after the British left and the Red Cross got bombed? Why were requests (by the Ambassador) for additional security denied? Why werent assets deployed to defend the Americans under attack? (especially since no one knew when the attack would end) Did the President call any of our allies, asking for help? Why was Susan Rice picked for the morning shows and not the Secretary of State? What was the origin of the claim that this happened because of a YouTube video? Where did that story start? How did that story go from no evidence to being the official story of the administration?
