A highly sophisticated and expertise-intensive industry is by and large managed by human resource of limited and even non-existent skill set. Owners’ desire and personal agendas to keep a hand in content production and its selection has taken a terrible toll on the quality of output. In this “non-expert-proposes and owner-disposes” kind of environment, there is no premium on quality. Quantity is king. Fillers and silly experiments rule the roost.
