Excerpts from Library Term 3, Week 7 Report The Thoughtful It was "Kindness" week in the library this week. Club members were able to put what was learnt during the regular sessions to good use by writing informal letters to loved ones. Each UKF staff or volunteer had to prepare a template for the kids to follow. Below is a sample that Kemi used for the members in Archbishop Taylor Memorial/ Kuramo: No74, Archbishop Taylor primary school, Victoria Island, Lagos. 26th June,2013 Dear Anne, How are you today? I hope you had a beautiful day because I did too. It’s been a long day as I have had to tutor some kids on the topic of “kindness”. A lot of them understand what it means to be kind but some of them are still trying to grasp its full meaning. I missed you very much today because more than ever I wish you were here to hear me speak of how kind and generous a friend you are. Just so you know, I love you very much Anne, you are a friend indeed to me hope to see you this weekend when I come home, do have a pleasant week. Yours sincerely Oluwakemi.
