Excited to announce that we have hired a new bassist. I have known Keith Lubow since he was a baby. I knew his father, the late Pat Lubow, who was also a fine bassist - and I went to junior high school with his mother, Shirley aka Sissy Jean Forster here on FB. Keith lives in my hometown of HLP - Highland Park - y que - and he plays several instruments as well as bass. He is a fine musician and a very smart young man. He just bought some new shoes for his new gig and thats good as he has some big shoes to fill, with the departure of our last bassist, the awesome Kennan Shaw. (Kennan moved out of state, sadly forcing me to hire someone else.) Meet him on our tour in May - across Texas and down into Florda. I hope this is the start of a long and mutually satisfying band experience! Thanks to all who auditioned and inquired about this gig. I havent been working as much as Id like - due to my ongoing cancer battle and a general slowing of gig offers - but I am feeling good today and I know music and the love and generosity of my fans and friends keeps me alive. I get so much joy from music and I am so fortunate to be in the position I am in. Thank you all for your support and welcome Keith Lubow to the fold!
