This is the reason why he is standing as one of the top heroes of Tollywood today at BO. One of his past blockbuster film ‘ kick’ is being remade in Hindi with a huge budget of nearly Rs.100 Crores starring Salman Khan in main lead. The film is released in theaters yesterday and response is quite average. Yes, top critics have called ‘ kick’ as a silly film with no coherence in the plot and narration. While Raviteja’s performance joined the love track with Ileana, well canned heist drama and the police-thief game in Telugu version, the same failed in Hindi because of feeble direction. Compared to Sallu’s standards of ‘Dabangg, Ek Tha Tiger’ etc, ‘ kick’ did not live up to the expectations. Raviteja’s energy is unmatchable and nobody in Indian cinema can fit to his level.
