Exercised my second amendment rights this morning... CLL and weapon ready, we pulled into the gas supply parking lot this morning to observe a couple people fighting at the intersection. Turned out to be a black man punching his woman, like 3-4 times then we yelled, and a gas truck driver was right there getting out of his truck to help. this distraction allowed the woman to get in her car and peel away. Now this guy is not dressed for the weather and starts walking as tuck and joker start yelling at him. What a big man punching your woman. he decided that even tho there were three of us, he would start talking shit about it being his business and stay out of it...of course the ebonics was almost unintelligible. As he walk towards us I swept my hoody up off my gun, still shrouded by my coat we all go closer as i saw he wasnt backing down... tuck and joker were on my left and a few feet infront of me, this guy kept getting closer so i went to ready position, Hand on gun and let him see it. Stopped him cold in his tracks and he started backing up saying Alright alright, got out his phone and i think was gonna call police or his buddies. who knows...it was pretty exciting, we were all hopped up on adrenalin. He walked away while we told him we were calling the cops...lots of things running thru your head in a situation like that. I had a clean clear shot, but trying to figure out if it was a safe shot, took my attention away from what was going on. Glad it ended the way it did, and this chick will probably;y be right back with him tonight anyways... wonderful visit to K town... lol
