Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord , which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. As I reflect upon the past two weeks I must state that had it not been for God and those He placed in my familys path I do not know how we would have made it. On September 18, 2014 my brother died. Losing a brother is a difficult task to handle but losing him at a young age and suddenly made it even more a difficult. We had other obstacles: Affording the trip to Conneticut for 5 people, hotel stay for 2 weeks, assistance with planning his funeral, and not being from Conneticut. I was a faithful beliver in the Son of God prior to my brothers death but my faith was strengthened through this situation. As I read Exodus 14:13 I can relate to the situation of the Israelites faced, the Red Sea before them and the Egyptians in hot pursuit. The Israelites had no options but to wait on the Lord. We were faced with all these obstacles and the most disappointing challenge was although my brother had life insurance we could not access it to funeralize him. In spite of these obstacles Gods blessings flowed and He provided. I thank Him for the Wilsons, the Church of Christ at Bridgeport, and the Holiday Inn Bridgeport, Mortons Mortuary and family and friends. Most of all I thank God!
