Experience Media is an Southern California based film and video production company, specializing in visual multimedia production and online marketing. This Sales Manager position is commission based with a high level of flexibility. The commission rate is 20%, with an opportunity to renegotiate after 6 months. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading sales and account development for selected existing accounts and manage new business development. You will leverage your consulting and selling skills to identify new sales opportunities, grow the existing accounts and ensure your accounts are delivering budgeted revenue. Minimum Qualifications: • At least 5 years of experience working with clients in both a consulting and sales capacity involving marketing or advertising • A demonstrated track record of developing long term business partnerships • Excellent communications skills, including formal presentation skills (content and execution) • The ability to understand potential client needs and translate them into sales opportunities • An excellent track record of closing new business with low cycle time and high closure rate • A track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals • Integrity and Self Motivation • Proficiency with Computer Applications (including Microsoft Office) • Excellent Analytical, Interpersonal and Problem Solving Skills • Strong Business Management Skills, including Financial Management Skills Main Responsibilities: • Responsible for managing 30 new business development calls per month to prospective businesses for production work • Develop strong relationships with key potential client and current client personnel • Develop and execute sales strategies that address customer needs and key business opportunities • Follow up with clients after projects to ensure satisfaction and explore future business opportunities
