Experimental bean row. Ive always used the traditional wigwam - TopicsExpress

Experimental bean row. Ive always used the traditional wigwam type of arrangement, but it has 2 big disadvantages. 1. The beans are all hanging inside, making it awkward to get at them. 2. The ground between the rows is basically dead space. I have tried growing stuff there, but its always been too shaded for any real success. Today I had an idea. Put the sticks at approx 45 degrees, supported really low. This way all the beans should be hanging down ready to pick with ease, and you still have all that space in front of the row for other planting. I shall keep you posted and let you know if it works :)
