Expert Committee on new Education Policy visits Anantnag: Farhan Qayoom, Sachnews Jammu Kashmir Reporter: ANANTNAG, JUNE 03: Discussions on formation of Draft Plan for new Education Policy for the J&K State was held at Anantnag with the members of Expert Committee. The Expert Committee visited South Kashmir and held interactions with the general public. During the daylong interaction programme many delegations from Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama districts, including Civil Society members, PRI members, NGOs & representative from Pahari, Schedule Tribe & Sikh community besides, a number of educationists and people from other walks of life participated in the Seminar. Threadbare discussions were held and many suggestions were put forth before the committee, besides inclusion of moral education and preferring high qualified youth. Mr. Gulam Rasool Shah Chief Education Officer Anantnag also deliberated on the provisions to be incorporated in the new Education Policy.
