Export Sales – Sub Saharan Africa Position Salary being offered will be : Basic Salary: R35 000 - R50000 Pension Fund : 7.5% of RFI (payable by employee) Plus Benefits: Provident Fund: 10% of RFI (Company contribution) Medical Aid: Company subsidises 100% of contribution for employee and family (Discovery Health) 13 cheque Commercial Bonus (Based on performance) Company cell-phone Long-service awards Leave accrual based on length of service My client is an International manufacturer and supplier of commercial trucks, parts and diesel engines based in Midrand. The client is looking for an individual who is assertive and pro-active with good selling skills. The successful candidate must have: • Matric • Technical degree (Motor related) • Sales related qualification • A minimum of 3 years sales experience in a similar role in the Commercial Vehicle Industry preferably with a Competitor within Southern Africa • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal • An ambitious, proactive and dynamic attitude. • Target driven and sales orientated. • The ability to deliver the company’s sales objectives • Knowledge of sales finance tools especially those linked with Export • Own customer database is mandatory • Good computer skills, Word, Excel & PowerPoint • Experience in facilitation/coaching/training/presentations • Methodical approach, attention to detail and the ability to work using own initiative • Manage time effectively • Drivers License The following would be an added advantage: • Knowledge of the competing brands and products • Knowledge of sales supporting technical and administrative tools • Code 10 or 14 Driving License with PDP • Multi-Lingual (ie: French, Portuguese, African languages) Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to: • To identify, conquest, develop and generate sales within Sub Saharan Africa with Key Account transport operators as well as supporting Key Fleets for the companies Export Dealer Network. To strive towards achieving relevant commercial targets set by the Company. • Create access to key regional transport operators and truck fleets, selecting immediately a list of high potential targets • Create new sales opportunities through a daily, structured and measurable prospecting activity • Create, enhance and regularly update a Export Database with all relevant information • When required, carry out joint visits with dealer personnel to both existing and new customers • When required, carry out solo visits to both existing and new customers • Complete precise and reliable client visit reports • Ensure consistent high quality and timely delivery of client requirements • Liaise with all levels involved in the decision making process and negotiate at top management level the best possible deal for the companies brand • Once established, manage relationships with Customer on a daily basis • Achieve SA Export targets in the form of Order-take, Revenue, Market Share • Liaise with all other Business Departments to ensure positive customer relationships and support including: Product, Customer Service, Finance and Used • Present company corporate presentations to customers • Weekly/Monthly report generating for the National Sales Manager and the Head Office based in Italy • Minimum of 15 customer visits per month including completion of related customer visit report • Acute technical and professional knowledge is a must.
