Expression of interest - I am looking at designing and getting manufactured some Jk factory style tube fenders either alloy or steel, will decide once I can estimate weights and costs of both options. The reason being is I want the extra tyre coverage, strength and clearance of a tube fender but there are a few downsides with the ones already on the market. The first big one for me is none of them marry up to full width front and rear bars like the ARB and AEV they all taper in and look ugly as hell with full width bars. Secondly if you have already got a 4 lift in your vehicle with 35s you will want to stand out the least possible, with flat fenders this increases the gap between the wheel arch and tyre quite significantly giving the illusion that the car is a lot higher than it actually is. So what are your thoughts? Yay or nay? Any suggestions? I would love to hear from you all.
