Extra Ordinary People! Ever think, extraordinary. Hmmm. Ill never be extra ordinary? Really? Is it that hard to try and give 100% effort all the time. Because in our world, that defines Derek Jeter & others that seem like superstar behavior beyond reach. Most of us could be superstars in the world, Im not saying anyone could be Michael Jordan, if we just put a little extra into the day. A smile, when you arent feeling it, a pleasant hello, even when youre a little down. Funny thing is, in the world right now, holding doors for people has become extraordinary behavior. Not cutting people off on the highway has become the extraordinary. I know, people are going to say, You live in NY, people are just rude there. Not according to statistics. It seems the more you look around all the major metropolitan areas in the US you see bad behavior. The younger the crowd, the worse it is. In my opinion, 4 kids at a table, all looking at their phones, is rude behavior. The point is, nothing changes if we all just go around being rude and boorish because that is how others are. Start a trend. Be nice to the guy trying to merge into your lane, hold a door for someone when you are coming out of the store. Be that person who put a little extra into ordinary and you become Extra Ordinary. Amen?
