Extreme awww moment of the week. Yesterday morning I was walking Kura, our lovely pitbull girl, around the neighbourhood. There was a very elderly man coming the opposite way, shakily and a bit wearily. As soon as he saw Kura his face lit up and his hands stretched out for her as he walked nearer. I made her sit and without saying a word the man bent down and started rubbing her ears and stroking her face with a look of pure bliss. Kura is still adolescent so she usually cant resist giving someone a lick when they pat her but she just sat perfectly still with her head raised and allowed him to pat her for about two full minutes. Still without a word he tapped her wet nose, gave me a smile right from his heart and walked on his way. Not a single thing said but an amazing moment shared between two very different people and a dog.
