Extremely proud of the kids this morning! I underestimated the water in the pan for hash browns and left them to boil, both smoke detectors upstairs and downstairs went off from the smoke and the boys ran to me yelling smoke! I ran to the kitchen and both boys had gone out front ON THEIR OWN and were holding hands. Mikayla woke up from a sound sleep and came down phone in hand ready to call. So proud of them! And Hayden told me he crawled on his stomach when he saw smoke and ran outside w his brother. There was no fire just tons of smoke and a burnt pan but SO happy to see they all know what to do on their own!!!!
