FAA Ban US planes from traveling to Israel. I have had a few debates about this and was curious about what some others feel about this? There are people who feel the FAA should not have acted. We keep hearing how the ban punishes Israel. What about the safety of all those traveling in what is rapidly becoming a war zone? A Malaysian airliner gets shot down at 33,000 feet over another war torn area and a missile lands within earshot of a very busy airport and the FAA are not supposed to act? It is terrible what is happening in these areas but to feel that the actions of the FAA were done to punish or with intent to take sides seems ludicrous to me but there are many politicians and others who seem to feel that was the intent of the FAA.
