FAILURE OF A GRAND COALITION: THEY CALL IT THE FINAL KICK Let - TopicsExpress

FAILURE OF A GRAND COALITION: THEY CALL IT THE FINAL KICK Let it be known by all who care about Zimbabwe that any coalition that does not have Morgan Tsvangirai or that is not led by Morgan Tsvangirai has nothing grandeurs about it. It will simply disintegrate the same way as what happened with the individual parties before their coming together. The masses of Zimbabwe will agree with me in this conviction. I have three facts to support this. FIRSTLY, the coming together of Welshman Ncube, Dumiso Dabengwa, Simba Makoni and Tendai Biti has always been a suspicious move. In recent years, Dabengwa openly told the nation that he prevented Morgan Tsvangirai from assuming state power. What then makes people believe that their coalition does not serve the same purpose, especially now when it is evident that Morgan will automatically sail through after Mugabes departure from the political scene has become obvious? Bitis involvement with Gono and dubious characters from Zanu and CIO camps cast a thick shadow of doubt about his motive behind the so called grand coalition. Ncube has failed to convince even his kith and kin to stage any meaningful challenge to Mugabe and/or Tsvangirai. Things just didnt work well for him right in his backyard. He is a very unfortunate character and I suggest he urgently gets some cleansing from the notorious bottles prophet Bulawayo based Madzibaba Ngwenya, as his failure is not one that can be attributed to lack of planning and political know how. He did his planning quite well, I presume, but he simply needs spiritual guidance, period. SECONDLY, a combination of zero and zero is simply equal to zero. No way can one get anything other than zero. Ncube does not have a single supporter as much as is Dabengwa and Makoni. At least Makoni has some sympathy but that does not buy any vote come election time. Biti has totally failed, with his coup attempt yielding zero if not diminishing returns since its launch early this year. It is from this background, that he attempted to overthrow a legitimate leadership, which makes anything he does suspicious and leaves more doubts than convictions. Anything that he lays his hands on simply gets rotten the same way as what happened to his container of oranges that he recently imported to appease his gods and his Malawian ancestral spirits, in an attempt to overthrow Dr Morgan. His admittance that ZanuPF won the elections by their bhora mugedhi campaign message and his recent defence of Gonos criminal scandals shouts loudly in the ears of the electorate and he mustnt be surprised when even his wife and numerous girlfriends dump him come election time. THIRDLY, Morgan Tsvangirai still enjoys popular support and these fronts or coalitions have always been called upon but simply failed to take off because, like I said, anything without Morgan, who now holds an open cheque which can be cashed anytime from now, is a failed project. It’s simple to understand. Tsvangirai has 2million votes already in his favour before we talk of the other 1million that will come from ZanuPF defections soon after their split, Biti has zero (excluding Jacob Mafume, Promise Mkwananzi and Elton Mangoma , Ncube has -100 (Priscilla might join ZanuPF anytime from now), Dabengwa has Zero and Makoni has 201. ZanuPF (after the split) will have 200000 the gullible ones. So given these obvious stats, one does not need to be a rocket scientist or a diesel nanga to deduce that Morgan Tsvangirai will automatically sail through in face of all these grand coalitions come any election. I deliberately omitted Lovemore Madhuku for obvious reasons that he is more of a Public Relations Specialist not a politician. That one is an opportunist of higher magnitude and a scholar as much as Arthur Mutambara is a robotics attaché in ZanuPF. Can someone show me the route which Mutambara took soon after the GNU? We have failed to locate him and his supporters want him to sign for liquidation of their party. Mudhuku attempted to change the NCA outfit into a political party and that has backfired right in his face. He has been spotted recently jogging in his rural Chipinge home, maybe to convince his family members that he is still fit to challenge Mugabe better than Morgan Tsvangirai. Besides their individual misfortunes and evident lack of support, who will lead them? Everyone wants to lead in his own right. Biti, after his tried and failed coup d’état, wants to prove that Dr Morgan failed and he is the one who can deliver Zimbabwe from Mugabe’s dictatorship. Welshman Ncube, coupled with his devilish hate for Morgan Tsvangirai, also wants to prove that it only takes Professors to lead a successful nation. Simba Makoni carries an old “theorem” that he once ran the complex SADC secretariat and can as well run the country better than Morgan Tsvangirai. Dumiso Dabengwa has a personal hatred for Dr Morgan and will do anything to make sure Morgan Tsvangirai does not take over state power, nothing else except for the reason that he just doesn’t want to see Tsvangirai becoming President of Zimbabwe. Madhuku does not have an agenda at all besides spoiling everything built by Dr Morgan. He sounds more like a spy and a ZanuPF agent in anything he does and would want to lead the coalition, simply for the reason of taking everyone to a ZanuPF slaughter house. Now, to conclude, whether people like it or not, Morgan Tsvangirai will rule Zimbabwe. They may form their “grand coalitions”, which we have noticed they are meant to fight Morgan Tsvangirai rather than Mugabe, but come election time Dr Morgan, in a coup de grace fashion, will simply swipe them all in a cyclone manner never witnessed in political history. Its rather better they join the big tent as did the celebrated selfless Democrat Job Sikhala, who stands right now as a right minded politician who decided to put the nation first before personal egos, than risk becoming historical demagogues.
