FALMOUTH - The 60th anniversary of Falmouth’s first Veterans Day ceremony will be observed at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Falmouth Public Library lawn, 300 Main St. Participants include keynote speaker Maj. Gen. Stephen P. Gross, U.S. Air Force; state and local dignitaries; the 102nd Intelligence Wing from Joint Base Cape Cod; Falmouth Fire Rescue Department Color Guard; Falmouth Police Department Honor Guard; Brian Boru Pipe Band; and Scouting organizations. Refreshments will follow at Falmouth Elks Lodge, 140 Palmer Ave. A blood drive honoring all veterans will be from noon to 6 p.m. at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 270 Gifford St., sponsored by Marine Lodge AF&AM.
