FAMILY TRIBUTE TO CHESTERFIELD MUM AND HER TWO SONS KILLED IN BLAZE A grandmother whose daughter and two grandsons were killed in a house fire in Chesterfield has paid tribute to them. Lynn Leighton issued a statement following the death of her daughter Josie Leighton, aged 32, and her grandsons Tyler Green, nine and Jordan Green, 12. They perished, along with 27-year-old Claire James, in a blaze at a house on Williamthorpe Road, North Wingfield, yesterday. Heartbroken Lynn said: “Josie was a lovely, loving daughter who had lots of friends. “Tyler was always happy. He loved life, he loved school and was always full of beans. “Jordan was a real character. He loved his family, especially his grandma and always had lots of friends. “They will all be greatly missed. “We are devastated by what has happened and we ask for privacy at this time to allow the whole family to grieve.” Investigations into the cause of the fire continue today and post mortem examinations are planned.
