FANCY LUNCH WITH ALEX SALMOND? Freya-Rose suffers from severe cerebral palsy, epilepsy, chronic respiratory problems, severe scoliosis, is blind and is nil by mouth. Freya requires 24 hour proactive intensive care to keep her alive. Her mother is raising funds to provide Freya with all the equipment she needs to keep her comfortable and to have some form of quality of life. In April 2014, Freyas mother contacted the First Minister in an effort to gain some help. During the following months, the First Minister met with Freyas mother on a couple of occasions and has corresponded regularly. It should be noted that Freyas mother was a No supporter but the FM told her that this did not matter. (She changed however) Even this week, his secretary has been in touch with Freyas mother to state that the FM is still helping where he can and was saddened that she has taken a turn for the worse. She is currently in Yorkhill hospital. The FM has offered up for raffle 6 seats for lunch with him at Holyrood on a chosen Thursday afternoon. This is a common fundraising event, usually only courted by large businesses who wish a couple of hours of his time. It has been on offer for some time now and I thought it may be an opportunity for someone on this page (or 6) to have this chance to speak to the man after the referendum. I ask this page to please share on any other pages and get the word out. This is a genuine offer. I think the work he has and is doing even during this massive time of his life is a testament to his character. This has been on MSM papers (the Sun) who also were supposed to post on or around referendum day however the article never appeared. This is run by Freyas mother, Carolynne Hunter.
