FANQuestion: My kids father and I were together for 7yrs and some months. We split up about two months ago but we were still talking in hopes of getting back together. But in that time, he has not been there for the kids and constantly lies about how busy he is just so he doesnt have to see them. Yesterday I called him over and over for hours to see if he wanted to spend time with the kids. He ignored all my calls. So I turned his phone off being that its under my name. Its one thing to not want to be with me, but we still have two kids(son 4, daughter 18months). This was the last straw for me. So now Im trying to figure out a way to explain to my 4yr old son that his father doesnt want to see him anymore. I honestly couldnt care any less about my kids father and I breaking up, but what makes this hard is having to tell my kids about their dad not wanting to be around them. And no I will not lie to them and say things like hes working because Im not willing to lose my kids trust over this guy who doesnt even deserve them. My parents and I do not have any type of relationship and I dont trust them with nothing, so Im not willing to lose my kids trust...sorry so long but some advice would be great! amanda
