FAREWELL TO FEDERAL POLY NAS I rejoice that d state of your concerns,external as well as internal,no longer renders d pursuit of inclination incompatible with d duty or propriety; and am persuaded,whatever partially may be retained for my services,that,in d presence circumstances of our institution,u will not disapprove my determination to call it quit. The impressions,with wish i first undertook d arduous trust,were explained on d proper occassion.In d discharge of this trust,i will only say,i have with good intentions contributed towards d liberation,sovereinghty and emacipation of the student organization and d administration that govern the institution. The best exertions of which a very fallible was capable. Not unconcious, in d outset, of d inferiority of my qualifications,experience in my own eyes,perhaps still in d eyes of others have strengthened d motives of difference of myself; and every day the increasing weight of years admonishes me more and more that d shade of graduation is as necessary to me as it will be welcome. Satisfied that if any circumstances have given peculiar value to my services; they are temporary, I have consolation to believe that while choice and prudence invite me to quit d political and activism scene of the institution, patriotism and prosperity does not forbid it. Fellow Nigerian students and d management of the institution, as it is exclusive and perculiar to humanity to err and make mistakes, I seek forgiveness from whoever I might have stepped on their toes in d course of discharging my duties. My heart is filled with joy,appreciation and enormous debt of gratitude to all Nigerian students for your support and prayers which has been my driving force and d desire to push forward even when d consequecies flashes a great danger. So also to the lecturers who had at no time despise or foresaken me even when others practically labelled me as been arrogant,troublesome,naugty and nitwitt. Change becomes the only thing that is constant in life. And it is on this theory i find a basis to move ahead beyond d shore of this institution. Words alone will not explain how i fill when composing this message, but i hope it get to d heart of everyone as we find a reason to love and unite ourselves irrespective of our religion, socio-cultural and ethno-centric differences.
